Join Ma'yan,  AVODAH, Pursue, and Repair the World for an original lecture by Dr. Rachel Mattson entitled Repairing the Idea of "Repairing the World": Thinking Historically about Jewish Community Service.

The program will include discussion, kindling of the Chanukah lights, and new ways to think about community service. The event is free and open to all--teens and adults welcome!

Dr. Rachel Mattson earned her PhD in U.S. History from New York University and is currently an Assistant Professor at SUNY New Paltz, where she teaches courses in U.S. history, critical pedagogies, and gender and sexuality.
