It is the vision of a future of girls who are critically thinking, creative, confident and skilled in leadership that inspired us to create That’s Not Fair!: The Ma’yan Political Theater Apprenticeship (along with Jenny Romaine--a puppeteer, performer, Jewish culture maven extraordinaire).  

After spending many hours preparing the various sessions that led us to the amazing production of That’s Not Fair! that wowed teen audiences across NYC, we figured we should not keep all that work to ourselves, but instead share it with all those that might want to create such a program in their community. The activities in this guide are geared towards Jewish American tweens and teens that are gathered in any number of educational  settings--youth groups, Hebrew or Day school classrooms, community centers, camps, and more.

The That’s Not Fair! Guide for Jewish Youth Workers collects the activities and work we did with the teens over ten weeks in the winter & spring of 2010.
